To use vibration fishing lures effectively, follow these steps:
Choose a vibration fishing lure that matches the prey fish species you are targeting. Different lures are designed to imitate specific types of baitfish or insects. Natural fish colours for clean water and brighter lure colours for murky water. Also try applying a lure scent on your lures which may make the fish come back for a second bit if the fish missed the hooks at the first strike. Match the weight of the lure to the situation, considering depth the fish are feeding at and water current speed.
Use a fishing rod and reel that are suitable for the size of the fish you are targeting. A medium to medium-heavy action rod with a fast or extra-fast tip is generally recommended for vibration lures.
Cast your lure into the water, aiming for areas where fish are likely to be present, such as weed beds, rocky structures, or drop-offs.
Once your lure is in the water, start retrieving it. Use a steady retrieve with a slight twitching or jerking motion to imitate the movement of injured or fleeing prey. The key is to create vibrations and noise that attract fish.
Vibration lures can be effective when retrieved at different speeds and depths. Try varying your retrieve speed, pausing occasionally, or adding occasional twitches to trigger strikes from fish.
Keep an eye on your fishing line for any sudden movements or tension, as this may indicate a fish has taken the lure. Be ready to set the hook when you feel a bite or see any signs of a fish striking.
Remember, fishing with vibration lures and blade lures requires patience and experimentation. It may take some time to figure out the best retrieve speed, depth and technique that works for the particular fishing conditions and the behavior of the fish you are targeting.
Vibes and Blade lures are designed for below the surface or deep water presentations. These sinking lures are versatile at various depths and can be used in the shallows with a rapid retrieve as soon as the lure hits the water or allowing them to sink to the bottom to target bottom dwellers or deep sounding fish. Both vibes and blade lures can also be trolled. The vibration the lures transmits through the water on sinking and retrieval gets the attention of hungry predotory fish.
